POLICIES

The following are policies of It's Your Dog and do not reflect the policies of third-parties through whom registration may be rendered.  Third-party policies as to refunds supersede those of It's Your Dog.

REFUNDS - GROUP CLASSES
Once a session has begun, there is no tuition refund for cancellations, dropouts or missed classes. A refund will only be given if notice of cancellation is received ten (10) business days prior to the first class.

CANCELLATIONS - PRIVATES
All cancellations/reschedules require 24-hour advance telephone notice to avoid forfeiture.  If no monies are on account, you will be charged a cancellation fee equal to one-half of the current hourly base rate.  A limit of one (1) session per 5-week package can be cancelled/rescheduled without forfeiture however, your day/time slot can not be guaranteed for make-up sessions.  All sessions expire 120 days from date of purchase.

INCLEMENT WEATHER
If you suspect a class may be cancelled due to inclement weather, the primary means of notification will be by EMAIL.  You will only receive an email if class is cancelled.  As backup, a cancellation notice will also be posted on the NEWS & EVENTS page of www.itsyourdog.com.  In the event you do not have access to email or the internet, please call (201) 841-2163 for a status.  Please allow us until two (2) hours prior to the start of class to reach a decision and post cancellation notices.  Cancelled classes will be made up by adding an additional week to your class at the regular scheduled time. 

CHILDREN
Although family participation is encouraged, safety and success come first.  Children are welcome to observe group classes provided they remain quietly seated in the audience and cause no distruptions during class.  Children ages 12 and up may be permitted to participate as a handler provided they demonstrate an ability to maintain consistent control of the dog in the classroom environment.  This option is subject to the instructor's approval and permission may be revoked at any time.  Private lessons are appropriate for handlers under the age of 12.

RETURNED CHECKS
The fee for a returned check is $25.00.
